Carob Energy Balls

~Pre-workout recipe~

Carob comes from the dried pods of the carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua), native to the Mediterranean. Unlike cocoa, it’s naturally sweet, caffeine-free, and low in fat, making it a gentle alternative for those avoiding stimulants. Carob is high in fiber, calcium, potassium, and antioxidants, supporting digestion and heart health. Its mild, earthy sweetness often means you need less added sugar in recipes.
