Green Shake with Ashwagandha
Some days you don’t need motivation, productivity tips, or a pep talk.
You just need a moment of peace.
This shake is called “Leave Me Alone” because it’s made for those days when your brain is tired, your nervous system is doing too much, and you’d like the world to lower the volume a little. It’s creamy, fresh, and calming – the kind of drink you make when you want to take care of yourself without having to explain anything to anyone.
What is ashwagandha?
Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. It’s known for helping the body manage stress, support the nervous system, and promote a sense of calm and balance. Many people use it to feel more relaxed, improve sleep quality, and reduce everyday tension.
Recommendation for use:
Ashwagandha is usually taken in small amounts — typically 300–600 mg per day of a standardized extract. In smoothies, a little goes a long way. Start with a small dose and see how your body feels. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication, it’s best to consult a healthcare professional before using it regularly.
