Hot Honey Beef Bowl
If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for a meal that’s high in protein, delicious, and truly satisfying… without spending an hour in the kitchen. And this Hot Honey Beef Bowl is exactly that.
I kept seeing different versions of it go viral on TikTok — everyone loved the sweet and spicy combination — and it instantly reminded me of Bali. If you’ve been there, you know what I mean: it’s a paradise for anyone who enjoys nourishing, flavorful food. Every corner has a café with colorful bowls, protein-rich plates, and even the vegan and vegetarian restaurants are incredible. I had a similar bowl a few times there, and the taste stayed with me.
I’ll soon share all the places I ate at in Bali — every spot, every dish, everything worth trying — because that trip was unforgettable. But for now, I wanted to bring you this recipe. It’s perfect for days when you want something balanced, comforting, and easy… especially if hitting your protein goal feels hard. This bowl makes it so simple.
Benefits
This bowl doesn’t just taste amazing — it truly supports your body. The lean beef, quark, and egg give you a strong hit of high-quality protein that helps with muscle recovery, keeps you full longer, and stabilizes your energy through the day. The avocado adds healthy fats that are great for your skin, hormones, and digestion, while the spices and chili bring warmth that can support metabolism and reduce bloating. The honey adds a gentle natural sweetness that balances everything without being heavy. Together, these ingredients create a meal that feels comforting, nourishing, and energizing — the kind of food that makes you feel good from the inside out.

Roast the sweet potato:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss the sweet potato cubes with a little salt and pepper, spread them on a baking sheet, and roast for 20–25 minutes until soft and lightly caramelized. -
Cook the beef:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart, until browned and fragrant. -
Assemble the bowl:
Add the quark to one side of your bowl. Spoon the spiced beef next to it, add the roasted sweet potato, then top with the sliced avocado and the halved boiled egg. -
Finish and serve:
Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and drizzle the spicy honey right before eating.
-
Enjoy warm – sweet, spicy, creamy, and perfectly balanced.
