Creamy Yogurt Bowl with Caramelized Peaches
This recipe brings summer straight into your bowl. It’s fresh, seasonal, and simply lovely.
You can serve it in smaller cups as a beautiful dessert for your guests, make it a healthier sweet treat for your children, or enjoy it as a nourishing breakfast. Whatever way you choose to enjoy this recipe, you really can’t go wrong.
And a little warning – the homemade granola turns out so good that you might have a hard time not eating it all within two days, haha.

The Recipe:
Servings: 1 yogurt bowl (granola makes approximately 8–10 servings) | Prep time: 5 minutes (yogurt bowl) | 10 minutes (homemade granola) | Cook time: 3 minutes (caramelized peaches) | 30 minutes (granola)
Tip: Make it vegan by using a plant-based yogurt alternative (such as coconut, soy, or almond yogurt)
Ingredients
For the yogurt bowl:
- 200g thick plain yogurt (10%)
- 1 peach, sliced
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp almond tahini (or any nut butter of your choice)
- 3 tbsp homemade granola
For the homemade granola:
- 150g gluten-free rolled oats
- 50g chopped raw nuts (almonds, cashews, or your choice)
- 30g mixed raw seeds
- 30g flaxseeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 30g almond tahini
- 30g coconut oil
- 30g maple syrup
- 20g dried cranberries
Homemade Almond Butter Granola
- Preheat the oven to 150°C.
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, seeds, flaxseeds, cinnamon, and sea salt.
- In a small saucepan, gently warm the almond tahini, coconut oil, and maple syrup until melted and combined.
- Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the granola onto a baking tray and press it down firmly (no baking paper needed).
- Bake for around 30 minutes, checking occasionally. Do not stir while baking!!! This is the secret to creating beautiful clusters.
- The granola is ready when it turns golden brown and your kitchen smells adorable, like freshly toasted nuts and cinnamon. Be careful not to overbake it – you want golden, not burnt.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely without stirring. This is when the clusters will set.
- Once cooled, add the dried cranberries and gently break the granola into your preferred cluster size.

Yogurt Bowl
- Slice the peach and caramelize it in a pan with maple syrup and cinnamon until soft and golden.
- Add the thick yogurt to a bowl, top with the warm caramelized peaches, homemade granola, and almond tahini.
- Enjoy it as a dessert-like breakfast or a sweet nourishing treat.
